REVIEW FOR COGNITOS 2K10 - TECHNICAL...

It's a festival of zettabyted minds, and if Robot has fired up a mechatronic engineer in you, get here to indulge your grey cells.

CM Engineering College is organising its annual technical festival 'Cognitos 2K10', on 8th & 9th October, at the college campus in Maisammaguda, Kompally-Bahadurpally Road. The 2-day fest will have various events such as paper presentation, poster presentation, innovative gadget presentation and robo mania. The list of events is:

Paper Presentation

Presentations will be given based on any of the following topics:

Cryocar

Bio Diesel

Nanotechnology

Mechanical Design

Reverse Engine, or

Any topic related to Engineering.

Poster Presentation

Topics include current affairs in India (Common Wealth Games, Hyderabad Metro Project, etc) or any topic related to the stream of Mechanical Engineering.

Innovative Gadget Presentation

Innovative gadgets will be presented.

Robo Mania

This event consists of:

All Terrain

Robo Wars

Robo Soccer

Line Follower

Debate

A discussion between sides with different views, with persons speaking for or against an issue.

Press Conference

Participants will be given a topic, on which they will be asked few questions. This event focuses on the communication skills and the way of handling a situation spontaneously, and is for people who would like to experience media attention.

Group Discussion

Though a group discussion sounds like a cacophonic idea for many, there stem many management points that can be noticed in an individual, including skills of management.

LAN Gaming

This year, tournaments will be held for Counter Strike and NFS Most Wanted.

Cycle Racing without brakes

Keyboard Key Arranging

Penalty Shootout

Carroms

Gully Cricket

Short Film Presentation

A film not exceeding 3 minutes can be presented. The film can be shot by a video camera or digital camera, on the campus.

General Quiz

This is an onsite event which tests one's skills in the quizzing arena, on topics of current affairs and general awareness.
