Classical Dance Recital By Anupama Kailash

For all you fanatical loyals of Kuchipudi, the legend of the Andhra Devadasis is coming onstage this evening. Anupama Kailash is presenting Vilasini Natyam, a resurrection of the Andhra Devadasis, tonite at Ravindra Bharati. The dance form comprises 3 stages - one that's performed inside the temple as part of the worship rites, one for the audiences and one that is a representation of street theater. She'll be performing beguiling excerpts from all the three styles.
