Soak in the sunset; hear the only jazz band in Hyderabad, the Charminar Jazz Collective play everything from interpretations of jazz standards to re-invented spirituals. Society To Save The Rocks brings Magic Of Rocks, an evening of open air theater and music.
The Charminar Jazz Collective, which is a quartet of Jazz musicians, will dish out some funky and neoteric tunes at Durgam Cheruvu Lake Resort. They have made an indelible impression on the Hyderabad music scene and have played in venues all over town, including a three-month run at 'Fusion 9'.
The mainstay of the Collective is Max Haan, their Dutch Saxophonist, who has been the one responsible for the group's unique style by bringing together jazz and rock instrumentalists, a style that has them playing music ranging from Jazz and Funk to Latin, Swing and beyond.
