Carnatic Vocal Concert By Mohansanthanam

Kalasagaram is organising a Carnatic vocal concert by Mohansanthanam at Keyes High School on 19th September. The concert will begin at 6:30pm.



Mohansanthanam will be reciting Carnatic classical, and he will be accompanied by R Dinakar on the violin, S Arvind on the mridangam and K Srinivasa Rao on the kanjira.



Mohansanthanam comes from a musical lineage, and started singing when he was 5 years old. His mother Saraswathi Santhanam, during her student days in the then Central College of Carnatic Music (Chennai), had trained under T Brinda, Tirupambaram Swaminatha Pillai, Mayavaram Krishna Iyer and M A Kalyana Krishna Bhagavathar.
