Started with an intention to guarantee unadulterated children's entertainment, Balanandam, founded in 1940, was the dream mission of Radio Annayya, and his wife, Akkayya. During the span of their lifetime, Andhra Balananda Sangham was the venue where an informal and free ambience nourished young talent and produced numerous high achievers in the field of film direction, music and theater.
Here, regular classes are conducted in Carnatic music, Bharatanatyam, and drawing and painting. The organisation also conducts summer camps to impart training to children in handicrafts, light music, drama and folk dance, and there are celebrations during festivals.
The entry fee for this competition is Rs. 25, for all categories. Please contact 2756-1443 for further details.
