The Times Of India is organising a 9-day Hyderabad Festival from 28th January to 5th February at different venues across the city. On 5th February, Bollywood playback singer Shreya Ghoshal will perform a Bollywood Music Night at the RRC Grounds, Secunderabad.
Shreya's career began when she won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest. Her Bollywood playback singing career began with Devdas, for which she received both Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer Award and Filmfare R D Burman Award. Since then, she has sung for over 180 films, and received 4 National Film Awards and 7 Filmfare Awards.
Shreya's hit numbers include Bairi Piya and Dola Re (Devdas), Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai (Jism), Barso Re (Guru), Teri Ore (Singh Is Kinng), Agar Tum Mil Jao (Zeher), Piyu Bole (Parineeta), Pal Pal Har Pal (Lage Raho Munnabhai), Zoobi Doobi (3 Idiots) and Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi).
In Telugu, her well-known numbers are Kopama (Varsham), Andamlo Andhra Kosta (Lakshmi Narasimha), Pillagali Allari (Athadu), Nuvvena Naa Nuvvena and Vachhe Vachhe (Anand), Tippulu Tappulu (Godavari), Neethone (Adhurs) and Vintunnava (Ye Maaya Chesaave).
