About the show:
Blueprints of Abundance is about spaces of the township. Hailing from the idyllic topography of the countryside, when artist Rama Krishna came to the city to pursue his art education, the distinct change in the landscape compelled him to document the new visual stimuli which became a major preoccupation in his formative years. Dainty structures spread across large spaces, mostly bearing architectural ornamentations, got stylised in the hands of the artist. Blueprints of Abundance is all about how the painter graduated to economise his visual articulations, transforming the landscapes of abundance into abstract spaces.
