Looitporia-Hyderabad Assam Association, founded in 2003, is the oldest registered nonprofit Assam association in Hyderabad. The organization's mission is to promote Assamese culture, literature, and language while supporting Assamese people in Hyderabad. Looitporia also collaborates with other socio-cultural organizations, non-profits, and government bodies to extend its support to people from other northeastern states.
