The Great Hyderabad Bicycling Club is organising a ride to the Charminar on 20th November. Attending members will meet up at the starting point at the K B R Park and the ride starts at 5:30am. The distance will be 40-45 kms 2-way.
The route for the ride is K B R Park, Ravindra Bharathi, Nampally Station, Afzalgunj and Charminar, and return via Zoo Park, Rajendra Nagar, Masab Tank.
The cost of the event will be shared by the participants. Along with a bicycle in good running condition and with perfect brakes, attendees will also need to carry a helmet, drinking water (not less than 2 litres), ORS, some snacks, sun glasses, sun screen, spare clothes and spare tube/puncture kit.
The Hyderabad Bicycling Club was formed by a group of cycling enthusiasts in August 2007, with an intention to meet people, network and have fun. The club organises rides each Wednesday and Saturday morning, and plans occasional multi-day trips throughout the year to different parts of India. Some members are training to participate in special tours and race events. All levels of riding are welcome.
