REVIEW FOR BAND BY CHANCE -...

Meeting each other might have been pure serendipity, but it's a shared passion that binds them together. Here's some Hyderabadi talent that discovered that office hours alone don't maketh a life.

'Band By Chance', a musical band, will be performing in La Makaan on 2nd November, from 8.30 pm.

'Band By Chance' was formed by a bunch of working professionals who happened to meet each other at the right place at the right time, and kept meeting over every weekend to keep their passion for music alive. They play everything, ranging from light Indian music and fusion, to rock and western.

The band comprises the following members:

Caleb - Drummer, guitarist, bassist and singer. He plays for a semi-professional rock band, 'The Fringe Pop', which has won 'Rocktaves - 2010'.

Deepak - Guitarist.

Swetha - Vocalist. He is also the band's manager.

Sumanth - Vocalist. He has won several competitions, and can sing in atleast 4 languages.

Vishal - Percussionist. With a reportoire that includes a range of Indian and western hand percussion instruments including the tabla, ghatam, djembe, African bells, Congo and shakers, Vishal is, quite literally, the hands of the band. Apart from percussion, Vishal also provides backing vocals.

Naren - Bass guitarist. He is also a management student.

Nitin - Guitarist. He is the youngest member of the band, who has earlier played in NIT-K.
