This is a play where the corporate world collides with the world of the spiritual. The collision results in benefits for some and in loss for others, depending on their willingness to receive and accept.
A young man who has had a setback, a highly successful and ruthless industrialist, his architect friend, and a politician who is a believer - these are the central characters in 'Athithi'. But the pivot of the play is the elderly Sankaran, who inhabits an abandoned dwelling in a deserted village. When the young man is led there by chance, he finds peace and receives a second lease of life. But what befalls the industrialist who is out to evict the elderly man from the site in order to build an engineering college for his only son? How is his architect friend affected by the encounter?
