Firstly the Chaitanya brothers aren't brothers . They are a couple of co-disciples of Sangeeta Kalanidhi Nedunuri Krishnamurthy, who decided to perform together eight years ago, and so well syncronized are they, that they earned the epithet brothers. Secondly, and now this statement becomes redundant, they are pretty damn good.
They have performed across India in about 450 odd concerts, singing 300 odd compositions. Their list of accolades include Ugadi Puraskar (2001 and 2005) and the title of Aasthana Gayakas Of Cudappah Pushpagiri Samsthanam. They have been performing at the Tirumala Brahmotsavams for the past five years.
Today, they will be singing Annamacharya Kirtanas of Balakrishna Prasad of TTD, and their own guru, Nedunuri Krishnamurthy.
