The Crafts Council of Telangana (CCT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving traditional crafts and handlooms in Telangana. Established in 1987, CCT has been instrumental in uplifting artisans through exhibitions and workshops. In December 2020, CCT inaugurated 'CCT Spaces' in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad - a multifunctional venue that serves as a hub for artisans to showcase their work, conduct workshops, and engage with the community. One of the notable events hosted at CCT Spaces is the Angadi Craft Bazaar, which features traditional crafts such as Molela pottery - a terracotta art form from Rajasthan known for its intricate plaques depicting deities and folk narratives. By providing a platform for artisans to display and sell their crafts, CCT continues to play a vital role in preserving cultural heritage and supporting the livelihoods of craftsmen.
