As part of the launch tour of their first album 'Grounded In Space', fusion band Advaita will be performing at the Hard Rock Cafe, on the 14th of March.
A band of 8, Advaita has Abhishek Mathur on the guitar, vocals and electronics; Anindo Bose on the keyboards and electronics; Chayan Adhikari with the western vocals; Aman Singh Rathore on the drums; Suhail Yusuf Khan on the sarangi and Hindustani vocals; Ujawal Nagar with the Hindustani vocals; Gaurav Chintamani on the bass guitar; and Mohit Lal on the tabla and percussion.
Advaita is a fusion band based in New Delhi. The band's music is a blend of Hindustani classical and western vocals, combined by the sarangi, tabla, bass, keyboards, guitars and the drums. It was started in 2004, and has performed at corporate events, classical festivals, pub gigs and college shows.
