The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), jointly with the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), is organizing the 2nd international exhibition and conference on 'Bus & Special Vehicles' from 9th to 12th March at the HITEX exhibition centre, Madhapur. The 1st edition of this expo was held at Bengaluru in March 2009 which attracted over 3,500 domestic and overseas visitors from countries including Israel, France, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Brunei, Japan, China, and Egypt. The expo had generated over 2,150 business enquiries for the participating companies.
The 2nd Bus and Special Vehicles Expo aims to showcase modern, technological and environment-friendly buses and special vehicles under one roof. The expo also aims to facilitate joint ventures, technology transfer, enquiry generation and interaction with automobile and related industries.

The expo will be inaugurated on 9th March at 4:00pm by Botcha Satyanarayana, Minister for Transport, Andhra Pradesh. Workshops will be conducted on the first 3 days of the expo, as under:
