Keeping in line with the tradition of the NIRD in organizing an annual event, Rural Technology Park (RTP) is organizing the "12th Rural Technology and Crafts Exhibition? for six days, from 14th to 19th February, 2014.
RTP has been organizing the Rural Technology Exhibition annually for the last 11 years. This year, the themes are Rural Technology Innovations, Handlooms and Textiles, Tribal Crafts, Fishery Technologies, Sustainable Agriculture, Green Energy Park, and Eco-Friendly Rural Housing Technologies. There will be nearly 200 stalls demonstrating these technologies and selling rural products from all over the country.
The features of the exhibition also include products of successful entrepreneurs of RTP. Cultural programs planned include traditional folk arts, musical night, short plays and dramas by tribal communities, school children and famous artists.
The exhibition is kept open from 10am till 10pm, and the cultural programs start at 6pm on all the 6 days of exhibition.
