REVIEW FOR VOICE OF HYDERABAD - SINGING COMPETITIONS AT RAVINDRA BHARATHI
Nitish Narayana, a budding music director, is organising Voice Of Hyderabad, a singing competition, on 18th May, at the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. The competitions start at 9am, and contestants in the age group of 16 years to 23 years are eligible to participate.
There will be two rounds - melody and fast beat - and participants can choose any song. Live orchestra will be provided by the organisers. Based on the performance in the two rounds, the judge Nitish Narayana will select a maximum of ten singers. These singers will be further groomed in various aspects of singing and will be given a chance to sing in a melodious album to be composed and directed by Nitish himself.
Nitish Narayana is a talented singer who had participated in Paaduta Theeyaga in ETV and won appreciation from the judges, in 2003. But unable to make it big in the singing industry, he is trying his hand in music direction. In this endeavour, in order to give a chance to new and unknown singers, he has decided to organise Voice Of Hyderabad. He is supported by Mahesh, another promising singer who also participated in Paaduta Theeyaga.
