The 18th century pearls of Carnatic music, Saint Thyagaraja's, Pancharatnas (five jewel songs) are resurrected by vocalist S Uma Devi. She will recite the narada pancharatna keerthanas.
These five melodious kritis were composed by Thyagaraja, as a mark of devotion, for the divine saga Narada. They are narada ganalola (atana), naradaguruswami (darbar), Sri narada muni (bhairavi), Sri narada nada sarasiruha (kaanada) and vara narada (vijaya sri). Legend claims that Thyagaraja had received divine blessing from Narada muni.
