REVIEW FOR THE SORCERESS - IRANIAN MOVIE BY DAVOUD MIR-BAGHERI
When Rana sees her husband talking to a doll about his feelings and experiences, she thinks has a mental disorder. When she replaces the doll, however, all hell breaks loose.
The Hyderabad Film Club is screening "The Sorceress" on the 5th of November, as part of the Iranian Film Festival, at the Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Public Gardens. The movie was directed by Davoud Mir-Bigheri.
The story is about Rana, who meets Bahram Rafat in an exhibition. The friendship changes into lifelong wedlock. After sometime, Rana realizes that her husband has a mental disorder due to which he keeps talking to a doll about his feelings and experiences. She realizes that she has to be strong and find a way save her relationship. She decides to replace the doll to relieve her husband of his illness.
