REVIEW FOR THE MEXICAN REVOLUTION WITH CHEF ALBERTO FROM MEXICO
Novotel Hyderabad is organising a month-long food festival of hot Mexican delicacies at its signature restaurant La Cantina. Chef Alberto G Humphrey Guerrero has been specially flown in from Mexico to prepare the authentically spicy dishes of the Aztecs.
Running all through the month of May, everyday from 11:30am to 3pm for lunch and 6:30pm to 11pm for dinner on weekdays, and 11am to 11pm on weekends, the a la carte menu is all set to fire up a few palates.
Albondigas De Espinaca Con Masa Harina, Pollo Con Mole Verde, Chipotle Chicken, Enchilada Aguacade, Cocona Plantain, Tortillas, Tacos and Nachos are among the dishes that will be served. There are live food stations preparing hot pizzas such as Crambolis (rolled pizzas) and Calzones (folded pizzas); and a bar churning out Tequila and Vodka shooters, La Cantina all-time Classic Sangrias, and special cocktails. To set the Mexican mood, a 2-piece Mariachi band will be performing Mariachi numbers amidst authentic decorations depicting Mexican culture.
Chef Alberto is an award-winning chef from Mexico. The titles he has won include the Jay Patterson Award and Red Seals with 3 Honor Award. He was named "Chef de Chef" by Queen Elizabeth. He has been involved in several openings of new restaurants and new menus, has been a guest on TV cookery shows, and was also in consulting and training services. His expertise is in churning out authentic Mexican specialties, bringing along spices from his home town.
