If you are wondering what that is, those are the lawns of the Hotel Golkonda,
with seating arrangements... on the ground! The 'Kababon Ka Khazana' Festival
is set in a typical chowki style. So you have mattresses to sit on with
the old world pillows to lean on. The maids with the feather fans are missing,
but the food might make up for it.
The menu is a la carte. The purpose of the food fest is to introduce
certain new dishes for the conniosseurs of good food, and that, at much affordable
rates. Khen Chand, the master chef who has about 25 years of experience in Tandoor,
is the man behind the many delicious-sounding kababs like Kaba-e-Makhloot,
Raan Changezi and Samak Tikka. The ambience is enhanced by live Qawwali
by Khan Ali Khan troupe.
