The ICFAI Dance Festival, being organized by The Alpha Foundation, will be conducted by “Kalyani – The Soul of Music”, a youth association banner launched in 2005 in Hyderabad comprising of artists from Sri Thyagaraja Govt. College of Music & Dance, Sri Bhakta Ramdas Govt. College of Music & Dance, Bhadruka College and Vasavi College from the twin cities. The group has received rave reviews and appreciation from all quarters for its performances in various places including the Salar Jung Museum and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Hyderabad.
The ICFAI Dance Festival will see a mix of established and upcoming artists on the stage and a fusion of different classical dance forms of India. It promises to be two evenings of pure delight for the connoisseurs of classical dance. The two-day festival would see performances from notable dancers as:
Sanjay Kumar Joshi, Nand Kumar Chawla, Kumar Swamy, Ravi Teja and K.N. Sridhar in Kathak.
Veena Tejasvi, Sri Hasanti, Santosh G Nair, B. Vinodini and Sushmitha in Bharatnatyam.
Nirmala Vishweshara Rao, Veena Tejasvi, Geetha Sandhya, Deepthi, Anusha and Ramya in Kuchipudi.

The Alpha Foundation, a registered charitable trust established by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), has been working for the uplifting of the under-privileged population, especially children, in urban slums and rural areas through a holistic approach combining quality English medium education, nutrition, healthcare services, co-curricular and extra curricular activities, vocational training and employment opportunities. The Foundation also provides an opportunity to performing artists to showcase their talents in classical/folk music and dance through the ICFAI Music Festivals and the ICFAI Dance Festivals. The Foundation has plans to provide such opportunities at district, block and village levels also to revive the dying arts of India.
