REVIEW FOR THE BLUE - IRANIAN MOVIE BY HAMID LABKHANDEH
They may be ruled by weirdos, but Iranians have the same problems as the rest of us. Mahtad's biggest problem is as clichéd as a heartbreak.
The Hyderabad Film Club is screening "The Blue" on the 4th of November, as part of the Iranian Film Festival, at the Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Public Gardens. The movie has been directed by Hamid Labkhandesh.
The Blue is about an innocent woman, Mahtad, with a broken heart. She roams in the city noticing the carelessness of people, and trying to express herself and her grief. Then she finds Arastaou, whose innocence attracts her, and she falls in love with him.
