The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI), a community that provides education, training, certification, news, and research for executives and IT professionals, is conducting a conference on Tuesday, November 10th, at the Microsoft campus in Gachibowli. TDWI is organizing the event in association with Microsoft, HYSEA and IN10S.
Beginning at 2:30pm, the event consists of a business quiz and a panel discussion. Sreenivas Simhadri (GM, Microsoft), Dr. P Radhakrishna (SETLabs, Infosys) and Jim Walch (GM-IT, Microsoft) are addressing the gathering.
There will be a panel discussion at 4:15pm, and the topic is EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) Best Practices. Building EDW is a complex undertaking for any organization, and there is complexity across dimensions - change management, business buy-in, time to realization, technology and processes, and program governance. The panelists involved in the discussion are Balaji Thiruvenkatachari (BI Head, Mahindra Satyam), Sudheer Marisetti (CEO, Abacus Concepts), Smit Shanker (Global BI Head, Novartis), Dinesh Mohan (Sr. Principal, Infosys) and Venkat Iyer (BI Head, CapGemini).
This will be followed by the BI (Business Intelligence) Quiz, hosted by TDWI. It is a tool-agnostic quiz that will include questions on BI/DW problems, analytical problems and technology trends, among others.
The mementos will be given away by Suresh Donepudi (CIO, ITC Bhadrachalam), and the vote of thanks will be made by Nat Natarajan (Microsoft GDC-IT).
