What's the weekend immediately after a blistering summer called. Well, we don't know, but this is certainly the way to celebrate it!
Bacardi BLive is organising a concert tour of the renown Dein Perry's Tap Dogs. The tour in India started on 26th May in Mumbai, and was followed by a concert on 30th May in Delhi. It touches Hyderabad tonite, followed by Kolkata on 6th June.
Tap Dogs are currently taking the world by storm with their unprecedented tap show that combines the strength and power of male workmen with the precision and talent of tap dancing. The show started with six guys from a steel town north of Sydney, Australia. Oliver Award winning choreographer Dein Perry heads the team with designer/director Nigel Triffitt, composer Andrew Wilkie, sound engineer/designer Darryl Lewis, freelance lighting designer/production manager Gavin Norris, audio designer/engineer/consultant and project manager Andy Jackson and percussionist Steve Gibson. He created Tap Dogs, a 75-minute reinvention of tap for the new millenium.
Having accomplished this creation, the team next brought in some of the best dancers, all of them professionals with varied experiences, for the stage performances. They include Jim Doubtfire, Douglass Mills, Chris Ernest, Nigel Long, Ryan Gravelle, Sheldon Perry, Mitchell Hicks, Matt Papa and Mark Whiteman. Together, these dancers had put-up rigorous sessions of training drills and are currently considered the best tap dancers anywhere.
The entry to this mega event is by invitations only, available on sending an SMS Blive to 8243. Please contact the venue at 2311-2121/22/23 for further details.
