Ista Hyderabad is hosting Soul Curry, a sea food fest, at its specialty Indian restaurant Deori. The festival is on for dinner from 4th November to 15th November. It is being supervised by Ista’s Executive Chef, Amit Wadhawan. Ista has also flown in Chef Robin Roi from Cochin, who is a master of traditional coastal recipes, for the festival.
Soul Curry features a wide collection of recipes from the lush western and eastern coasts of India, presenting a range of culinary styles - Malayali, Malabari, Mangalorean and Goan, and that of the regions alongside the Bay of Bengal as well.
Soul Curry has a grand a la carte menu, with starters served from interactive cooking stations - you can get barbeque stir fries and fritters cooked to your taste and choice here. Fresh fish will be flown from the Arabian Sea everyday. Meen Roast from Calicut, Karwari Mussels, Prawn Balchao, Crab Zec Zec, Andhra’s Fish Fry, Royyala Vepudu, Mangalorean Fish Curry, Bhappa Chingri, Bengal's Machar Jhol and Paturi, and Kerala's Karimeen Polichathu and Chemeen Manga Charu are some of the delicacies you can gorge on here.
The festival promises to spruce up your dinner further, with a live band that will play coastal tunes.
