Access Livelihoods Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. is organising Tathya-II
, a Short And Documentary Film Festival, on 27th & 28th November, at the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. Some of these documentaries were featured at "Jeevika: Asia Livelihood Documentary Festival" organised by the Centre For Civil Society in Delhi.
Rural Postal Employees, a documentary by Deepika Bharadwaj, will be screened on the second and last day, at 4:15pm.
It is a film on the lives, difficulties and challenges of issues faced by GDS employees of the rural postal service. Although they are classified as government employees, they hardly receive the benefits a government employee deserves. It's a film that shows the hardships of their job, and the struggle for a better life.
