The Society To Save The Rocks is all geared up for this month's rock walk. Known
to almost everyone in the city, the Society To Save The Rocks selects a 'rock-site'
for its walks that happen on every third Sunday of each month. The destination
this Sunday is Durgam Cheruvu.
Starting at 4pm from the Jubilee Hills check post (near the gas station), the group will proceed to the nearest drivable road to the site at Durgam Cheruvu by car. They will then take a walk to the rocks.
People interested in joining for the walk can contact on the numbers given below. There are no fees for the walks. However, the society has fixed guidelines and rules, including a fee, for those interested in being a member.
All the walkers are requested to wear walking shoes (not sandals or chappals) and long pants, and carry drinking water.
