Sveccha, a non-profit voluntary organisation, is organising the All-India Rock Competitions on 3rd March at the Durgam Cheruvu resort. Called Rock Rhythmz, this rock for a cause fund-raising event by Svechha is managed by Ballyhoo.
Rock Rhythmz is a national level rock band competition which will feature rock bands from IT, non-IT and freelancer communities, as also university and college bands, from all over India. It is a rock event for a social cause through which funds are being raised to help people in need. There will be a special performance by History Makers, followed by Pune's DJ Moksh.
History Makers is a Hyderabadi band, that won the Hyderabad leg of Campus Rock Idols 2006 and the Battle Of Bands 2006. The band consists of Raj on lead guitar & vocals, Sam on bass & vocals, Joel on the drums & vocals, and Mahesh on lead vocals. A hard rock band formed in 2005, History Makers has played in Bangalore, besides Hyderabad. They have the Neighbor, Alive, Yaadein and Pursuit albums to their credit.
DJ Moksh is a household name for party-goers of Pune. He has been entertaining crowds of this city since the last 3 years. He is an expert in playing Bollywood remixes, hip-hop and commercial rock.
Svechha is a non-profit organization initiated to enable people and organizations in need achieve financial freedom. The aim is to increase social awareness and raise funds to support causes like children education, support for senior citizens, women reforms, healthcare for everyone and village development, and to increase awareness on civic responsibilities.
