REVIEW FOR PROVINCE UNITED - AN ISRAELI FILM BY ORI INBAR
The Hyderabad Film Club is organising an Israeli Film Festival, from 25th to 28 July, at the Sarathi Studios in Ameerpet. The screenings include three award winning films and four documentaries. Today, the second day, Provence United, directed by Ori Inbar, will be the second film to be screened, at 7:30pm. The film was adjudged the co-winner in the Best Film category at the Haifa International Film Festival 2002.
Shlomi is the star of a small town soccer team. He is 18 and has big dreams about the major leagues. When an important game approaches, the players develop problems that hinder their harmony and performance.
The film is full of heart, and delivers an intriguing story that goes beyond sports and winning - it is a story of real people with passions, dreams as well as flaws.
