REVIEW FOR PARVATI KALYANAM - HARI KATHA BY SRI LAKSHMI NARAYANA
Seeta Rama Naama Sankeertana Sangam is organising a Hari Katha recital by Lakshmi Narayana on 7th April at Lord Balaji Temple at Alwal. The Hari Katha will begin with Ganesh stuti, and will be followed by the story Parvati Kalyanam (the marriage of Parvati). The story starts with the birth of Parvati, showcases her love for Lord Shiva, and ends with their marriage.
The Hari Katha will be accompanied by Seelam Koteshwar Rao on the violin and Yandamuri Subbarao on the mridangam.
Lakshmi Narayana is a renowed Hari Katha artist who has born and bought up in Janagam, Warangal district. He is a disciple of Burra Sivarama Krishna Sharma and V V Rama Rao. Lakshmi Narayana is a diploma holder in Hari Katha and also a B-grade artist in All-India Radio and Doordarshan. He has performed all over India, and was awarded the Gaana Kokila and Sri Madh Ramayana Bhakti Pracharaka titles. He has performed in prestigious sabhas like Ravindra Bharathi, Thyagaraya Gana Sabha and Shilparamam.
