24 works capturing the lustre and vivacity of one of the world's most vibrant cities are on this week at the Alliance. Here is an exhibition both for the dilettante and the connoisseur.
Manish Pushkale, a 30-year-old geologist and painter, is presenting his latest painting collection titled Nuits de Paris (Nights in Paris) at the Alliance Française de Hyderabad this month. Manish has been painting abstract themes for a long time now, and they are quite similar to Raza's themes like Japa and Taapa.
Capturing the nuances of the city of lights, Manish has produced 24 works in the canvas, and has artfully shown what a wondrous city Paris truly is in the nights. A native of Bhopal who is currently living in Delhi, Manish follows in the tradition of great names in the Indian painting scenario - such as Vishwanadhan and Akhilesh - and has the same zest for the city of Paris.
