REVIEW FOR MUSICAL NIGHT WITH DR. S P BALASUBRAMANYAM & SHAILAJA
The good cause just got better. The legendary SP Balasubramaniam, the polyglot singer who has sung in more than 10 Indian languages in a career spanning nearly 40 years, with a prolificity that has won him a place in the Guinness Record book, is singing on the evening of the 6th of November, with his sister Shailaja, at Keyes High School.
The cause we are talking about is the rebuilding of the Laxmi Narasimha Swami temple at Nala Bazaar, RP Road, Secunderabad. For this purpose, the Laxmi Narasimha Swami Seva Samiti is organinsing this three hour concert. Donor passes are available all over the city.
SP will be bringing his own orchestra and the entire program will be conceptualised by both the singers themselves. From Annamayya to Maine Pyar Kiya, you can expect the entire spectrum of devotional, as well as romantic songs from the two legends. So watch this concert for two good causes – the temple construction and SP. For more details, please contact 5532-7764.
