"Tai Chi" is an ancient Chinese art form, and is a combination of physical exercise, breathing techniques and meditation. Originally developed as a martial art, it looks more like a slow, graceful dance. Sifu George Thomas will conduct a lecture-demonstration class for one hour today explaining the importance of this martial art form. Thomas has trained under Grandmaster Fu Shend Yuan, fifth generation of the Yang family in Shanghai, and has been teaching the art in Chennai and Bangalore. He has about 25 years of experience in this art form.
