As part of the All India Crafts Mela from 13th December to 4th January, G Pranathi is presenting a Kuchipudi performance, on the 11th day of the mela. Starting with a Vinayaka Koutvam, Pranathi will perform an Annamacharya Keertana - Vachchina Alamelu Manga, followed by Thyagaraja's Ksheerasagaram Sayana, Annamacharya's Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha and finally, the Siva Stuti.
Pranathi is a 11-year old disciple of Vedantam Satya Narasimha Sastry. Since her arangetram 2 years ago, she has over 80 performances to her credit. She is the recipient of the Balaratna Award in the year 2006, and has been selected as a finalist for this year President's Balasree Award. She is a holder of the CCRT Scholarship from the Government of India since 2006. Currently, she is studying in the 7th standard, at Johnson's Grammar School, Habsiguda.
