REVIEW FOR KAISIKI SHOBHA - KUCHIPUDI BY CHARVEE REDDY
Lasya Priya is presenting Kaisiki Shobha, a solo Kuchipudi recital by Charvee Reddy, on 20th April, at the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. Charvee is a student and disciple of Lasya Priya's Dr. K Uma Rama Rao, and will present the following items:

The choreography and nattuvangam for the recital are by Dr. K Uma Rama Rao, vocals by D S V Sastry, mridangam by S Nageswara Rao, flute by J Dattatreya, violin by Subbalakshmi and veena by R Sudhakar.
Lasya Priya is an institute founded in 1985 by Dr. Uma Rama Rao to impart knowledge in the theoretical and the practical aspects of Indian classical dance traditions. In a span of 23 years, this institution has produced several students who work for the promotion of this ancient art tradition in India and abroad, either as teachers or as performing artists. Lasya Priya is also working hard towards the promotion of Indian spiritual and cultural heritage through multimedia, making use of information technology.
