Time to hop in on the gravy train; these kebabs are not meat all the way!
Peshawari is organizing a kebab fest, starting on the 20th of April. For those who pine at kebabs being only non-vegetarian, here is a sigh of relief. This is a kebab festival where 12 varieties of veg kebabs are a special attraction. These include Kathal ke Kebab (braised chunks of jack fruit marinated and cooked with ground aromatic spices), Pudina Paneer Kabab, Tikka Kabab, Dal Panchratni Kebab (shallow fried kebabs made from a blend of five lentils), Bharwan Tinda and Vegetable Shashlik Kebab.
Along with the veg kebabs, there will also be 12 varieties of non-veg kebabs. Some of the mouth-watering non-veg kebabs that form a part of the menu are Jhinga Till Tinka (marinated, deep fried prawns coated with white sesame seeds) and Achari Seena-e-Murgh (chicken breast stuffed with seasoned chicken mince and cooked to perfection on the tawa).
