K Arun Kumar of Traditions Events is organizing the 'Hyderabad Fashion Week',
where the city's top designers and Mumbai's supermodels are expected to take part.
The show's concept is based on the Lakme India Fashion Week (LIFW) held recently.
The Fashion Week will showcase the work of the city's top 15 designers, and will create a platform for local designers to bring out their talent. This is also an effort to elevate the standard of the modeling scenario in Hyderabad, and give talented local designers some exposure.
About 28 designers have been shortlisted, and some of the top designers to take part are Anand Kabra, Asmita Gunti Marwah, Zubin Vakil, Joseph Sundar and Madhu Kamath. The last three days of the show will see Mumbai supermodels Zulfi Sayed, Shawar Ali, Reggie Verghese, Sheetal Mallar, Candice Pinto and Jessie Randhawa walk the ramp with city models Zainab, Jahnvi, Praveen, etc.
