He has done his diploma in painting and drawing from Sir J J School of Art, Mumbai. A senior artist born in 1941, Bholekar also specialises in sculpture, in addition to printmaking and painting.

The paintings of Dr. Monis Khan depict a wide range of emotions, comprising different shades of the fairer sex - from the days of mythology to the present dawn of women empowerment and social evils such as sati, female foeticide and rape. Born in Hyderabad, this self-taught artist graduated from the St. Petersburg State Medical Academy, Russia.
All the four artists work for Gallery State Management, Hyderabad. The prices of their paintings are affordable and pocket-friendly to the common man, thus providing good quality art at reasonable prices.
