If you look like a model, here's where you head today. And if you want to look at people who look like models, here's still where you head today - for, they'll all be here.
Walk-in auditions and scanning for the Gladrags MegaModel and Manhunt Contest 2007 - the one and only unisex pageant in the country - are being held at 6 cities of India, with the regional round being held at the Senate-I Hall of Hotel Aditya Park Inn, on 7th February at 11:00am.
The contest is open to all unmarried males and females. Selected models from the six cities of Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata and Delhi will further be screened in Mumbai, and the final few will be required to undergo a gruelling one-month training. Here, they will be taught etiquette, dancing, career management, nutrition, physical exercise, dancing, make-up and diction. The trained ones contest the final rounds of the pageant, and three winners will be shortlisted.
The pageant allows one to get on a platform that opens the gateway to a world of modelling and filmdom. Most of today's Bollywood and modelling stars like John Abraham, Dino Morea, Lara Dutta, Kelly Dorjee, Amar Upadhyay, Zulfi Sayed and Muzamil Ibrahim, have made their mark by winning this contest. Last year, Arti Sharma and Abhimanyu Jain won the MegaModel and Manhunt pageant.
Apart from the gifts and prizes that the final three winners receive, the models get an opportunity to represent India at several international pageants such as Manhunt International, Top Model Of The World, Best Asian Face Contest, Miss Intercontinental Contest, Mega Model Of The World Contest and Miss Tourism International, over the course of the year.
