More and more people in the country and throughout the world are now practicing
Yoga, the ancient art of meditation and exercise. And the benefits of this ancient
art form are limitless. While one has to pay a huge sum of money for modern exercising
techniques and equipment, Yoga can be practiced by anyone, be it the rich or the
poor. A complete workout in itself, it relaxes the body and also the mind.
Pujya Swami Asanganand, the renowned yoga guru from Gujarat, will be conducting this free camp. The coordination is by Swami M Nikunj Doshi and Swami Prakash Kirtankar. The morning class, the Yoga satra, starts at 6am and ends at 8am. The evening class, the Kriya Yoga satra, is from 7pm to 8.30pm.
The organizers have conducted many religious camps in the past, the most recent being a 3-day Dhyana Shivir last year. This camp is their first endeavor in organizing a Yoga camp in the city.
