Ahala - The Drama Lounge is presenting yet another gastronomic delight for the health- and figure-conscious party animals of Hyderabad, as part of the Ahala Foodie Night promotion series, on 9th March. Chef Tony, the inhouse chef of the Golden Dragon restaurant of the Taj Krishna, will whip up some dimsums tonite.
Dimsum is the name for a Chinese preparation which involves a wide range of light dishes served alongside Chinese tea. Dishes may include meat, seafood and vegetables, as well as desserts and fruit. The items are usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate. They are either steamed or baked. Some dimsum dishes are Shaomai, Bau, Char Siu Bao, Chien Chang Go, Chin Deui and Dou Fu Fa.
Indulge in these delicacies with the flowing spirits at the lounge's fully equipped bar. One of the celebrated bartenders of India, Shawn, will be at the drinks counter, and will be blending the champagnes, cocktails, mocktails and ice-slab shots. Entry is open to everybody.
