As wedding preparations get underway, she discovers that her parents have expectations of her getting married, too. It's a personal documentary exploring the difficulty of balancing individual freedom against parental and social expectations.

The Indian Knot
How can you marry someone you don't know? A probe into the custom of "arranged marriage", doubts and dilemma faced by marriageable youth, aspirations, disillusionment and contentment of married couples. Through the story of Romira, soon to be married off by her family, and personal accounts of Anjali, Chitra and Neelam, urban Indian women express themselves on their quest for love. Is it better to marry the person you love or love the person you marry?
The film is directed by Neeta Jain Duhaut.
