Taj Krishna is hosting Fashion Yatra 2008, the 3rd annual exhibition showcasing designer garments, jewellery and lifestyle products from all over India. Renuka Choudhary, Union Minister for Women and Child Care, will inaugurate the function at 10:30am. The exhibition will be open for the general public from 11am to 7:30pm.
About 70 designers including Istara, Stae, Agnimitra Paul, Falguni Mehta, Tikaya, Choradias Silverware, Crimzon, Bea Accessoriwa, Aara, Arya, Adya and Brij will showcase their products. A part of the proceeds from the exhibition will go for the benefit of Nanhi Kali, a special trust managed by K C Mahindra Education Trust and Nandi Education to provide education to 100 underprivileged girl children in India this year.
The designer wear that will be on display will be affordable. Designers will not just display their products but also market their creations, ranging from designer wear, semi-precious and precious jewellery, and fashion accessories, to home accessories such as bed linen, and crockery.
