Summits and celluloid tales of partition notwithstanding, life goes on. For a
race that cares primarily about the three basics (roti etc), and good quality
stuff if they can help it, internationally defined fences are just of passing
interest. Here's an example.
Selina Jawaad, an entrepreneur from Pakistan who frequently visits Hyderabad to
see her family and friends, is displaying dress material, about 85 sets of salwar
kameez and jootis, at this exhibition called 'Expressions'.
And how'd she hit upon this? Well, when coming from Pakistan, Selina usually brings a lot of dress material for her family and friends. And she noticed that they were a big attraction for anyone who saw them. The demand for this type of dress material made her think of hosting exhibitions of these, and so the one-day displays.
The dress materials that will be on display are of cotton with crochet, chiffons
and net, kaamdaani work, shadow work and more. Please contact Selina Jawaad
at 666-6208 for further details.
