REVIEW FOR EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS BY RASHMI KOTHARI
Taj Krishna is organising Parichay, an exhibition of paintings by Rashmi Kothari, from 26th to 30th December. Rashmi is exhibiting about 50 of her latest artworks, of different sizes and done in various media, at the hotel.
The Parichay collection is a range of artistic nameplates on different subjects, ranging from Buddha, Ganesh and Meera to Maa (mother) and relationships. Rashmi has dabbled in different media, such as acrylics on canvas / textured base, inks on paper / textured base, mixed media on textured base / canvas, and murals. She finds inspiration in a variety of subjects.
Rashmi Kothari is self-taught artist who gave up a promising corporate career for love of art. She is now a full-time artist and an art consultant. This is her first solo exhibition, and she has been part of some group shows too, having showcased her ideas in the form of art creations at corporate houses, hotels, restaurants, personal offices and residences.
