This Saturday, the club nite at 10 Downing Street features one of the biggest names in the Indian dance scene and one of the main founders/producers of Ethnic House & Break Beat in India, DJ Nasha.
Nasha is a crowd favorite all over the Indian sub-continent, and very popular in the Middle-East. His first single - Nasha "Flute Fantasy" - was a huge seller in India as well as internationally. The track features maestro Ronu Mazumder live on the flute. It is a progressive house track with Asian influences, chants & a pumpy bass line. The track has made its rounds into many international DJ sets, and is popularly heard in DJ Ravin's sets at the Buddha Bar lounge, Paris.
Nasha has worked on collaborations with top Indian music maestros, such as Ranjit Barot, Pandit Dinesh, Sivamani, Taufique Qureshi, Niladri Kumar and Ronu Mazumder. Besides collaborating & producing music, Nasha is a part of a funky, experimental fusion-oriented band "Namah", which boasts of artists such as Ranjit Barot, Pandit Dinesh and Niladri Kumar.
