The Daksin restaurent of the Grand Kakatiya is presenting a 10-day west coast festival. This festival will feature recipies from Goa, Karwar, Mangalore and Kerala.
The delicacies of these coastal regions will be served along with fresh coconut water. These dishes will have a lot of coconut flavouring done on them. The famous Alleppy fish curry of Kerala, Calicut Brinjal Curry, Meen Porichathu, Pachakari Stew etc are all set to get the food lovers' mouth watering. The desserts will include Alaneer Payasam, Parupu Pradaman, Basundi, Badam Halwa and Khajur Aditan. There will be a total of 12 non-veg dishes and 9 veg dishes.
A dessert dish, made from tender bamboo shoots, is one of the specialities of this festival. The prices are as per the ala-carte.
