Today, a 52-minute documentary called Chronicles Of An Impending Disaster is being screened at Prasad's Preview Lab Theater. The documentary is directed by Philip Brooks.
Globalization is at the heart of the concerns of leaders and citizens in most countries. It affects us in our everyday lives and forces us to think about the future in a new light. The films chosen reflect the state of the current public debate, in all its complexity, and on major emblematic issues.
The AIDS epidemic has been tolling the death knell for humanity for over 20 years, especially in Africa. So why, when faced with this imminent planetary disaster, did governments, institutions and key individuals not take action to prevent the spread of the disease?
