Support children not as smart as you. How? By painting, of course. Chinni Chinni Asha 2006 – a painting competition for the children from all schools in the twin cities will be organized by Asha’s Hyderabad Chapter on September 3, 2006 at Sathavahna High School, Kukatpally.
Chinni Chinni Asha 2006 will be a test for the creativity of the children from various schools across different age groups. Asha organized the painting competition last year on 29th August. The event saw around 600 enthusiastic children participate. The kids were at the best of their creativity and proved once again that their little minds have the ability to digest complex issues like environmental harmony, national unity etc.
The proceeds from the event would go towards the welfare of students of Shraddha School, the only school of its kinds for slow learners, in Hyderabad. Slow learners are the children with borderline intelligence. These are not only at risk of educational failure, but also at risk for mental health problems. Shraddha School addresses the academic challenges of slow learners through special educational methods, with its team of motivated teachers, Psychologists and Physiotherapists.
Rules and regulations for the competition are:-
